Shield Bug (Darwin)
From the Microsculpture project by Levon Biss, this portrait of a Shield Bug was created from over 6000 individual photographs using microscope lenses. It was collected by the English naturalist Charles Darwin in the early 1800's from Australia.
12x16" prints are from an open edition, all remaining print sizes are from limited editions of 50, apart from the 40x30" print which is from a smaller edition of 15. Larger print sizes are available on request, with a maximum print size of 2x3m.
Prints are digital c-type on Fuji Crystal archival paper and are printed with a border to assist framing and provide space for artist signature and edition numbering. Prints are supplied unmounted.
All prints are signed, limited edition prints are signed and numbered.
